Megan was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. Megan was very disappointed when she failed the three hour sugar test. She failed two out of the four draws. This means she has to eat 6 times a day (3 meals and 3 snack) and has to take her blood sugar by the 'prick' several times throughout the day.
Although Megan is very sad, the baby is healthy! That is the most important thing to remember!!! Megan has to try and stick to a bit of a more careful diet and the baby and SHE will be just fine. I am sure she doesn't want to attempt to deliver a 10 pound baby!! :)
